The Campbell Firm PLLC

Firm Overview

The Firm represents clients in connection with allegations of criminal conduct that are classified as misdemeanors and felonies, including homicide cases. The Firm's attorneys understand the importance of diligent representation and appear in federal and state criminal law matters and investigations on behalf of clients.
Bringing savvy negotiation tactics to the table, the Firm's attorneys facilitate pleas for some clients, when a negotiated plea is the recommended option. But the Firm's attorneys are not afraid to try cases. Indeed, the Firm's attorneys accept difficult cases for trial where a plea is either not being offered or is unacceptable to the client. With a client's reputation and freedom from incarceration at stake, the Firm brings its skills and efforts to the defense of person accused of a crime.
Criminal matters are usually handled on a fee-for-service basis. The Firm primarily works on cases at the trial level, but will also work on appeals and 440 motions. The Firm will also address expungement of a person's criminal record when appropriate and sometimes handles matters involving collateral consequences.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

The Campbell Firm PLLC is founded on the principle that the law should be used as a tool to assist clients in meeting their personal and business objectives. The Firm's client-centered goal of Empowering Clients Through The Practice Of Law(SM) is foremost in the Firm's approach to working with its clients.

The Firm is relationship-oriented and strives to provide value-added legal services to its clients. The Firm provides access to partner-level counsel for all matters for which the Firm is engaged and responds expeditiously to meet clients' needs.

The Firm's Managing Member, Emily Campbell, was named as a "Super Lawyer" for the New York Metro area, a high honor, since only 5% of all attorneys nationwide achieve this status. Her entrepreneurial experience extends beyond founding her own law firm and includes theatrical production; operation of an on-line business; and real estate investment in residential and mixed-use properties in multiple states. Prior to founding the Firm, Ms. Campbell was associated with prestigious international law firms: Sullivan & Cromwell; Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom; and Pillsbury Winthrop (formerly Winthrop, Stimson, Putnam & Roberts). She is grateful for her large firm training and experience, which allows her to provide high-quality legal services, but at a more affordable rate than what large firms typically charge.
