Clayton Cain

Clayton Cain approaches each case with a mindset similar to one that earned him recognition as a collegiate All-American, on the baseball field and in the classroom. with Preparation, Persistence, and Production.

Clayton is a Lawrenceville native and believes in the power of community. Clayton is a member of the Gwinnett County Baseball Hall of Fame and earned All-American honors during his playing days at Valdosta State University. While earning his master's degree in sports administration at Georgia State University, he served as a graduate assistant baseball coach and coached youth baseball.

The law first intrigued Clayton while he worked for an Atlanta sports agent and led him to Samford University's Cumberland School of Law. While attending Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, Clayton became involved in Cumberland's renown trial program. Clayton likened the competitiveness of trial to athletics and realized that he wanted to be a trial lawyer. While clerking for Judge Tom King in Jefferson County, Alabama, Clayton observed numerous trials where personal injury attorneys passionately advocated for their clients and he knew that was his calling

John A. Mays, Jr.

John is a zealous advocate for clients inside and outside of the courtroom. As a litigation and trial attorney, he devotes most of his practice to personal injury and wrongful death cases. John has long known that he wanted to represent people not insurance companies. He strives daily to give clients the time and respect they deserve. Within his first three years of practicing law, John tried several cases to verdict as lead counsel. In his first jury trial out of law school, he obtained a verdict equal to six-times the medical bills and in excess of policy limits and has since won a majority of his cases including a bad faith judgment against an insurance company. John was a 2019, 2020, and 2021 Georgia Rising Stars honoree. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. John and his wife live in Lawrenceville, Georgia with his wonderful son and three dogs. When not working, John enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs.
