Office Information

Buist Law is dedicated to serving our clients' individual needs on a courteous, compassionate basis.

At Buist Law, we understand that our clients are often left to grieve for a loved one at the same time they are tasked with the responsibility of gathering assets, finding heirs, distributing bequests, and wrapping up the financial affairs of the one who has passed. We are here to guide our clients through the process of Probate and Estate Administration in a smooth and efficient manner. Please visit us at www.buistlaw.com for more information. We are here for your peace of mind.

Estate Planning

With so many aspects of life out of our control, there are still many areas that we can control. We accomplish this for our clients with effective and thought out Estate Plans.

Our attorneys are skilled at providing our clients, no matter how large or small their estate, complete and individual confidentiality, attention and respect.

Whether the preparation of a simple will or a more intricate estate plan, we help our clients direct how their assets will be distributed after they pass; and, just as important, how their assets will be utilized during their lifetimes.

If you have loved ones who are aged or ill, please encourage them to take advantage of our offer of a free consultation. Having their affairs in order can provide protections, savings and peace of mind.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

How to offer our clients peace of mind is our greatest concern. We can most effectively accomplish that goal by helping our clients stay in control of their financial and physical well being. Estate Planning is one of the areas where we are able to ascertain that our clients' intended beneficiaries are cared for after they pass. We employ a variety of other legal tools, such as Trusts, Real Estate Contracts and Guardianship to ensure that our clients maintain control of their care and finances during their lifetimes, as well as caring for loved ones. In the unfortunate event of conflict, we strive to reach amicable resolutions for all parties involved. But when we cannot resolve, we have experienced litigators on our team.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

Our attorneys are well versed and experienced in all of our areas of practice. Mr. Buist has been practicing in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate and Real Estate for over twenty years; Mrs. Ryan is a member of the Elder Law Section, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and Tax Section of the Florida Bar to complement her practice. Mrs. Spake is a skilled real estate probate and guardianship litigator. Ms. Ferraro was elected to the Connecticut Probate Law Journal during law school and has remained interested and active in this, as well as Estate Planning, ever since.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Our promise is simple. Not only do we provide our clients with knowledge and experience, we offer courtesy, compassion and counsel.
