Patrick Boyd founded The Boyd Law Group, PLLC and is a experienced labor and employment law attorney frequently featured in the press including on Fox News and in the New York Times relating to labor and employment issues. He has represented individual executives including many CEOs, Fortune 100 companies and small businesses in employment, labor, and education law matters.

He has counseled clients on the full range of workplace law issues, including claims of wrongful discharge, harassment, wage and hour violations (including class actions) and claim of discrimination under federal, state and local laws.

Patrick also has significant experience with handling traditional labor relations matters like collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations and matters before the National Labor Relations Board.

Prior to founding The Boyd Law Group, PLLC, Patrick practiced labor and employment law at a large, nationally recognized law firm and for the Office of the General Counsel at The New York City Board of Education.

Steven Bourtin

Stephen heads up the Stamford, Connecticut office of BLG. He has spent his career as a litigator practicing in a broad range of fields including contractual disputes, employment litigation, corporate dissolution, non-compete, class action including wage/hour class actions prosecution and defense, FINRA and securities litigations. Stephen has also represented clients in defense of various governmental and regulatory investigations and civil and criminal actions. After graduating law school, Stephen served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard W. Vollmer, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen was an associate in the Employment Law department of a national law firm and an associate for a top tier litigation firm. Stephen was Executive Editor of the Boston College Law School International and Comparative Law Review

William Li

The Boyd Law Group

William has been an associate of The Boyd Law Group, PLLC since September 2009 and represents both individuals and businesses in labor and employment litigation issues. Some of the most common issues that he works on include discrimination, harassment, retaliation (including those arising from violation of the anti-retaliation provision of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Dodd-Frank Act), wage and hour law, union conflicts, and negotiating and drafting of compensation and departure agreements. In addition, William helps businesses implement preventive measures and policies. William also has some commercial litigation experience in the areas of shareholder derivative litigations, corporate divorces and breach of contract disputes. He is fluent in two dialects of Chinese.
