Before opening his own practice, Mr. Bolonik accumulated a breadth of experience from advocating for impoverished clients at Brooklyn Legal Services, representing coop boards involved in New York’s HDFC program, and a stint at the prosecutor’s office at the Kings County District Attorney’s office. Mr. Bolonik served as in-house counsel at the Rainbow Corporation, a nationwide leader in the soft goods retail industry. At Rainbow, Mr. Bolonik represented the corporation on a vast variety of commercial real estate, leasing, and construction matters. Mr. Bolonik was responsible for the bankruptcy acquisition of a similar retailer’s lease portfolio where he renegotiated the assignment of 150+ retail locations nationwide. Mr. Bolonik graduated Brooklyn Law School with an advanced Real Estate Law Certificate with distinction.
