Deborah S. Maliver

Get to Know Deborah Maliver Dr. Deborah Maliver is a third generation doctor. Dr. Maliver's parents and grandparents were physicians and, as a child growing up, she recalls discussing medicine often around the dinner table. With a strong desire to keep up the family tradition, she graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a BS in biology and attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Maliver has extensive experience in caring for adult patients with illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease and cancer. One of her career goals as a physician was to screen for preventable diseases such as breast and colon cancer. She also started a small solo practice in Indiana, PA, where she cared for patients in her office as well as the hospital and Intensive Care Unit. It is this real-life experience that caused Dr. Maliver to notice the errors being made in patient care. She realized that the medical field had no way of policing itself.

It was at this point in her life that she discovered there was a need for qualified medical malpractice attorneys. After completing her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, she joined Christine Biancheria to form a small medical malpractice law firm in Pittsburgh . She believes a small law firm can provide the type of individual attention and care that clients deserve when they have become the victim of medical malpractice.

Because of her extensive medical expertise, Dr. Maliver understands the treatments and diseases people are talking about when they call her. She personally overseas every case and does not rely on a third-party explanation. Dr. Maliver was once a part of the healthcare system, and she knows exactly what questions to ask and where to look for answers.

As a physician, Dr. Maliver does not take suing a doctor lightly. However, she believes all doctors have a duty to do their very best for patients and their families. When a doctor makes a mistake, it is her job to ensure her clients get a full financial recovery. Money cannot fix the injury or bring someone back, but it can compensate people for medical bills, lost work, pain and suffering, loss of head of household by children, and the loss of your quality of life.
"If you believe you have been the victim of medical malpractice, please call us today. Although we are very selective, I give the same amount of attention to every person that calls or emails me. We are licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia . If you cannot come to us, we will be happy to come to you." ---- Deborah Maliver, MD , Esq.
