I take pleasure in helping people in need. As an intern my senior year of high school I worked for a promient DC workers compensation law firm. I continued working there through college and as a law clerk in law school, seeing how work injuries affected not only the injured worker, but their families. Workers' comp has become my passion.

I was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. I attended the University of Maryland and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. I then attended the University of Baltimore Law School.
I am a board member of Kids' Chance of Maryland, which is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to children of whose parents have died or sustained catastrophic injuries while working.
I am also a board member of the DOL Joint Bar Association.
