The Babcock Law Firm, P.C.

Trial Lawyer for Individuals: Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Defective Products, Business Litigation.

Firm Overview

Ryan W. Babcock is an experienced lawyer who handles high-stakes defective products cases and serious personal injury matters. In addition, he handles criminal defense cases, and other trial matters in Brunswick, Georgia, and the surrounding area, offering services to people speaking English and Spanish.

Mr. Babcock has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the country, including class actions, multi-district litigation, mediation, and trial through appeal. He has substantial experience with product defect claims involving pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices, claims arising from transportation and trucking accidents, automotive products liability claims, mesothelioma and asbestos cancer claims, environmental property damage and personal injury claims, as well as False Claims Act investigations and qui tam lawsuits.

Before starting his own law firm, Mr. Babcock represented corporate defendants and insurance companies at large law firms in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to that, after law school, Mr. Babcock worked for several years as a judicial law clerk to United States District Court Judge Anthony A. Alaimo in the Southern District of Georgia. That experience is invaluable in representing individuals that have been injured by the carelessness of others, and Mr. Babcock puts that knowledge to work on behalf of his clients.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Helping regular people with their court problems is the reason why we are in business. The trial courts in Georgia can be intimidating places, and lawsuits are complicated. Regular people deserve to have someone they can turn to, a champion for their interests, which is what we do.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

After working within the court system for several years, and then serving for several years representing corporate defendants and insurers, I started my own practice with the idea that I would represent people, not big business. I have served as lead and sole trial counsel in state and federal courts throughout Georgia, both civil and criminal, and in courts around the country. I have also represented clients in the appellate courts of Georgia and with federal appeals. Knowing the law, knowing how the other party evaluates and handles cases, and knowing how the court and a jury will likely evaluate a case, is what sets us apart.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Broad and deep experience, dedication to helping individual clients instead of insurance companies, and a passion for helping our clients achieve the best results possible are the factors that make us different.
