With respect to personal injury, we feel that we are able to obtain justice in situations where there is no other method of obtaining justice. If you have suffered due to an accident, there is no way to make you "whole" again or to make you forget about the actions that caused the injury. However, through our knowledge of the law we are able to seek justice where the criminal law cannot. Negligent actions almost always go unpunished, someone texting on a cellphone and striking another vehicle or pedestrian causing injury, for instance, may never see the inside of a jail cell. Likewise, a manufacturer may make millions of products which end up harming consumers. That's where we come in. The old adage, "hit them where it hurts" often translates to hit them in the pocketbooks. As a result, we are able to punish the negligent party for the wrongdoing and provide some measure of relief to a victim who had no other recourse. It's that feeling, knowing that we have helped provide that relief, that makes this job worth doing.
In the context of personal injury, I believe that my experience in insurance defense facilitates my abilities as a personal injury attorney. Placed in that field, it doesn't take long to learn that insurance companies are not friends with their clients. They attempt to save money at every turn and being on that side of the fence provides some insight as to the tactics employed by insurance companies and defense counsel in a personal injury context.
At Alabama Law Services, you don't get lost in the shuffle. From the first time you call, until your case is resolved, you have almost 24 hour access to your attorney. We are here to provide you counsel and that means you are the boss. As such, we will always treat you with the courtesy and respect that any boss would expect from an employee. Many clients feel that they are just another number, or worse, a blank check, in the eyes of a law firm and we strive to ensure all of our clients see the profession as the service tool it is meant to be. Call us today for the personalized and professional service you deserve!
