Bankruptcy

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I chose to practice consumer bankruptcy because I wanted to work closely with real people, solving real problems that could only be resolved through the application of the bankruptcy laws. I wanted to represent individuals, real people, not large companies.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

I have worked in all three bankruptcy courts in New Jersey and before all nine New Jersey bankruptcy Judges. Also, as a member of the Lawyers Advisory Committee to the Board of Judges, I become aware of changes in the climate of the New Jersey bankruptcy practice and have the ability to contribute before the changes take effect.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

I believe that clients become better consumers of legal services if they understood more clearly the legal issues confronting them. For this reason, our website is largely informational in nature!

I previously was associated with the firm of Montaro, Summers, Manuel, Owens and Gregario in the practice of insurance defense litigation before forming Truesdale and David, P.C. and later Bruce C. Truesdale, P.C.

Coming from a solid middle class background and attending public and state colleges allows me to relate closely to the problems and stresses that my clients experience.

Contributing to my strengths and ability to tailor my bankruptcy practice is the fact that I have worked in all three bankruptcy courts in New Jersey and before all nine New Jersey bankruptcy Judges.
