The firm was founded in 1972 by Glenn E. Ketner, Jr. after serving three years as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force, two years in private practice and three years as Counsel to the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Constitutional Rights chaired by the Honorable Sam J. Ervin.
Woodson, Sayers, Lawther, Short, Parrott, Walker and Abramson, LLP, is the oldest firm in Rowan County. Since that time, the firm has achieved and maintained Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating for legal ability and ethical conduct.
