Alison Bermant is a California attorney whose primary focus of practice is criminal defense. Her office is in Truckee, California, and she practices in Nevada, Placer and Sierra Counties.

Alison began her career as a public defender with the Placer County and then Santa Cruz County Public Defender Offices. She went into private practice after three years as a PD, in order to give her clients more attention and empathy than a busy public defender has the ability to do. She is known for her persistence in protecting her clients' constitutional rights, both in court and before DMV administrative hearings.
