Searching for Hidden Assets at Divorce

Do you know where your money is? If you think your spouse might try to hide assets during your divorce, it’s best to gather all the information you can before you begin divorce proceedings. You may even need to hire a forensic accountant or a private investigator. (A forensic accountant is trained to look into accounting practices to gather evidence that can be used in court.) Except in marriages of long duration (ten years or more) or in the case of an ailing spouse, alimony usually lasts for a set period, with the expectation that the recipient spouse will become self-supporting. How can I stop my ex-wife from using the credit card I'm paying for?

I was recently divorced. Part of the divorce decree ordered me to pay credit cards that are in my ex wife's name. I've requested that the bills be sent to me so I can see what is owed and to make sure I am not paying for stuff she is still charging. The credit card companies won't tell me anything, because the cards are in her name, but they will take my money. I can't close the accounts and she refuses to do so or to sign paperwork so the bills will come to my address. What can I do?
