Bankruptcy Exemptions for Ohio: Two Corrected Statute Citations, Cooking Unit Exemption No Longer Available

Appendix A of How to File for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, Appendix A of Chapter 13 Bankruptcy: Keep Your Property & Repay Debts Over Time, Appendix A of The New Bankruptcy: Will It Work for You?, Appendix A of Bankruptcy for Small Business Owners, and Appendix B of Solve Your Money Troubles incorrectly list one exemption for Ohio that is no longer available, and include two incorrect statute citations, as follows:

• There is no longer an exemption for "Cooking unit & refrigerator to $300 each."
• The statute citation for "Cash, money due within 90 days, tax refund, bank, security, & utility deposits to $400 total" should be 2329.66(A)(3).
• The statute citation for "Animals, crops, books, etc..." should be 2329.66(A)(4).
