Want Information on Your 2010 Tax Refund?

You can check the status of your 2010 tax refund online at the IRS website (www.irs.gov). Type in Where's My Refund? in the search box or click on the "Where's My Refund?" icon in the right-side navigation. Youll need to provide your Social Security number, filing status, and the exact refund amount you stated on your tax return. 

The IRS should have information about your refund within 72 hours after it acknowledges receipt of your e-filed tax return, or three to four weeks after you mail a paper return.
