When making your will with WillMaker, you may want to take a quick inventory of the property you own. This is particularly useful if you plan to give specific items to different people. In that case, making a list can help trigger your memory about what you own to make sure you don't leave anything out.
However, if you--like many people--plan to leave all or most of your property to one person or a group of people, you probably don't need to spend much time inventorying your property. In that case, your will document will state that you give your "entire estate" or your "residuary estate" to the people you name, without detailing the property they will receive.
