What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Generally, the more educated a client is the more effective the client can be in helping prepare and present their case.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am happy to review and revise documents prepared by clients. Depending on the experience and skills of a particular client, in some cases, it is more cost effective for me to draft the documents.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am happy to do so as long as it is understood that I charge for all time spent on the client's case.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I hoped to provide personal service to clients and resolve legal problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Ongoing work with many cases and judges enables me to have current knowledge of local procedure.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I enjoy court work.

What do you like best about your career?

I enjoy meeting interesting people and resolving disputes.

Tell us about your law firm:

I am pleased that the people that work with me are friendly and willing to work hard for my clients.

What are your strengths and style?

I am a strong negotiator and can provide a sense of perspective that comes with over 20 years of experience.

My style depends on what is necessary in a particular case. If appropriate, I will choose cooperation to achieve a win-win result. If necessary, I will provide aggressive representation and go toe-to-toe with the opposing party or attorney.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy a variety of sports activities and travel with my family.
