I am current on all my bar-required MCLE continuing education units.
I spend most of my time with sexual harassment and abuse, employment, nursing home neglect, and serious personal injury litigation, which includes elder/dependent abuse, product liability, premises liability, and motor carrier liability. These are some of the more recent verdicts and settlements we have obtained for our clients. However, every individual case must be evaluated on its own merits and there can be no assurance that our clients will recover any sum in their case.

Spray Gould & Bowers LLP is distinguished as one of the oldest law practices in Southern California, founded in 1925.
I dedicate a large portion of my practice to litigating cases of sexual harassment and abuse, employment, nursing home neglect, and serious personal injury litigation, which includes elder/dependent abuse, product liability, premises liability, and motor carrier liability. I have represented many individual plaintiffs from all walks of life, as well as corporate and insurance defendants.
Prior to joining the firm, I practiced with another law firm in Newport Beach, California. Previously, I spent nearly a decade working in the real estate industry, most recently as a manager with the Irvine Company, and am a licensed Real Estate Broker in California.

I believe the more educated the clients, the easier they are to help.
Yes, I am willing to review documents prepared by clients, at an hourly rate.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I became frustrated by the over saturation of professionals in my field. I chose to pursue law because of its versatility. My first year in law school, my ethics professor declared why he had chosen to be a lawyer and it made a lasting impression on me: "I chose to become a lawyer to be the hammer rather than the nail." After I completed law school, my first job was in litigation. I knew as soon as I began practicing that this was the field for me.
My experience as managing partner of my firm has provided education. Further, my experience in sales has immensely helped relations with clients, other attorneys, and judges. As an aggressive advocate, I am marketing not only myself, but my cause as well.
I went where the need was. When I started in Employment Law, it was a dynamic and growing area. Every week you read a new case or review a precedent that changes the field again; it is constantly evolving. I enjoy the intellectual challenge and believe my specialty is very interesting.
I like litigation best.
Spray, Gould & Bowers LLP has six attorneys and various legal and administrative staff. Our expansive professional network can only be found in such a well-established firm and is truly an asset to our clients. While our new clients can feel confident about our solid reputation, they will find that a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere awaits them at our office. Our friendly and capable staff has been with us for many years. Their knowledge of the legal process allows the attorneys at Spray Gould & Bowers LLP to concentrate on client advocacy.
My unique strength is I actually take the time to talk up front to client and figure out what their individual needs truly are. By finding the root of the problem, I improve efficiency. I am able to save money and time for my clients. I am realistic about my clients' cases and the possible outcomes.
I am very blunt and forthright, not prone to nuance and subtlety. My clients always know what to expect from me.
I enjoy my children, cars and SCUBA diving.
