Our firm was established in 1990 and our focus is to provide personal service.
We specialize in all aspects of family law, including litigation and mediation services, specifically: divorce, legal separation, child support, spousal support, custody and visitation, move-away issues, post-judgment modifications, property division, pre-marital agreements, adoption, guardianship. While our experience in litigation is extensive and aggressive as necessary, peaceful resolutions are encouraged through mediation whenever possible.
We are also a full service firm for all aspects of estate planning and probate administration and litigation.
Prior to my legal career, I worked as an Assistant Dean for the College of Extended Studies, San Diego State University.
I teach at University of San Diego, Paralegal Program.
It is a great idea for clients to educate themselves on legal issues. It's a form of being an educated consumer of legal services.
Yes.
I am available on an hourly basis at my hourly rate.
I decided to be a lawyer because I am a devoted and skilled advocate and it is very natural for me to energetically represent my clients' interests. I do this effectively and successfully in contested cases and in negotiating settlements for my clients.
I have a law degree and a doctorate. In my educational career and after 18 years of practicing, I have been able to overcome challenging situations which have made me more sensitive to the challenges that others face in their every day life.
Most people go through their lives never needing a lawyer until they are getting divorced. Family law attorneys are lawyers for every man and woman in every walk of life and it is natural for me to be able to relate to these common problems that are experienced by everyone.
I enjoy being an effective and successful advocate for my client.
I have two assistants who are indispensable and work closely with me on all of my cases, backing me up whenever needed.
I can be aggressive when necessary, but at the same time work hard to settle cases whenever possible.
I communicate with the client; that is the top priority. I make an effort to return all calls the same day and I listen to the client's wishes and always try to respond accordingly.
I play golf and bridge and I enjoy movies and theater.
