My interests are in family law and wills and trusts. I normally double the requirements required by the bar.
I have handled over 1,100 cases since I have opened my practice in 1991. The cases have ranged from simple uncontested matter and mediation of disputes to trial of almost all issues in family law matters including custody, support, and domestic violence issues.
The modification of past orders is a significant part of my practice. One of my Dissolution of Marriage trials was cited by the trial Judge that was elevated to the Court of Appeal.

I opened my own law firm in 1991 and am conveniently located across from the North County Superior Court in Vista. My law office provides caring and compassionate divorce and family law services to clients in San Diego and Riverside Counties.
My areas of practice include every aspect of family law, including Divorce, paternity, child custody, child support & enforcement, spousal support, property division, annulment, as well as post-divorce modification of existing orders.
Dicaro & D'Anthony in Orange County: 1990 - 1991: I worked as a Chief Financial Officer at Sourcemate Information Systems in Mill Valley, CA.
Special Master and Settlement Judge Pro Tempore Panels. I am also a commissioner of the Public Arts Commission, City of Vista.
I encourage clients to educate themselves. Many times I will provide copies of cases and statutes that are applicable to the client's situation so that they can better understand the factors that will effect the Court's decision in their case.
Absolutely. I encourage clients to prepare their own declarations. I then use their statements as the foundation for the document to be filed with the Court. I re-organize the information and emphasize particularly relevant points so that the document is more effective in persuading the Court.
Yes. One of the areas that I feel is most valuable to clients is regarding their approach, organization, and conduct during Family Services Mediation. No attorneys can be present and the fate of the client's children may be dramatically affected by the recommendation of the mediator.
My father encouraged me. I resisted, but he was right. Being a lawyer is a great opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives.
I had a career as a financial and administrative executive over twenty years that has been invaluable to me as an attorney in understanding my clients situations better.
Having dealt with money matter for over twenty years, I wanted to work more directly with individuals and their challenges. I felt I had something to offer to people in crisis.
Every day is different. Each client's situation is unique. The law is constantly changing.
I am a sole practitioner. If I agree to work with you, I am the attorney that will work your case, not a junior associate. I am fortunate to have two hard working assistants, Julie and Amber that facilitate and coordinate the effort required to effectively complete your case.
My unique strengths are my experience, my desire to improve my client's situation, and my drive to be successful.
I would prefer to settle a case as early as possible. If I find that it is necessary or appropriate to be aggressive, I go into high gear.
I enjoy photography, reading and exploring the world.
