Firm Focus and History
The Law Offices of Patricia A. Hendrickson practices in the area of Family Law. We represent clients throughout Orange County, including the cities of Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Westminster, Fountain Valley, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, and Newport Beach among others. As a law firm, we limit our practice to those matters dealing exclusively with divorce and other facets of family law. Of course, family law is a broad term encompassing divorce, legal separation, child custody and visitation rights, spousal and child support, paternity issues, registered domestic partnerships and, adoptions, domestic violence, restraining orders and a host of other issues, including modification of existing orders and judgments.

I decided to work in Family Law because of my interest in children.
What do you like best about your career?
What I like best is the opportunity to solve many personal problems for my clients. There is nothing I like least about my career.

By limiting the practice to family law and divorce, we appear frequently in front of the same judges and keep apprised of the latest developments in this rapidly changing body of law so as to give you the best possible advice and service.
What are your strengths and style?
When you are dealing with important legal issues, you need experienced and caring family law attorneys who will provide dedicated legal representation to protect your rights and the interests of your family. We provide the personal and attentive service that is not usually found at other law firms. We work hard to establish a close relationship with our clients. We are always available to listen to your concerns as well as discuss your options in order to meet your legal needs.
As a dedicated and diligent divorce lawyer, I am always focused on the needs of the client. I understand that no two legal issues are entirely the same, but may have similarities. I treat every client as an individual with unique legal needs. I understand what it takes to solve your legal problems and I am committed to serving you and your family's needs.
Generally speaking, it is often in everyone's best interests to reach a disposition of your case without judicial intervention. Our courts have a tremendous workload, and while our judges are dedicated and knowledgeable, no one can know the intimate facts of your case better than you. Therefore, your best results may be obtained by me working on your behalf with the other party. If negotiations fail, however, we will proceed to litigation.

Our hourly rates are $350 for a lead attorney, $300 to $325 for associates, and $150 for paralegals.
