The Maggio Law Firm is a diverse full-service law firm that handles a variety of legal matters that include the areas of Family and Divorce Law, Personal Injury, Criminal, Wills & Trust Estate Planning/Probate, and Consumer Rights. Our firm fights for your rights with compassion, experience and professionalism to achieve fast and fair results so that you can get on with your life. No one ever wants to be involved in a law suit, but we are here to help at those times when experienced and informed legal representation is necessary.

Previous Employment Summary

I previously worked in other Southern California law firms for 6 years. Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked in the legal field and therefore have over 13 years of experience in law.

Activities and Awards

I am a member of the Board of Directors for Irvine Adult Day Health Services, Inc., a non-profit corporation in Orange County, serving the greater community by providing opportunities for seniors and disabled adults to remain socially active while receiving valuable therapeutic and medical services necessary to continue living within the comforts of their own home.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I believe it is prudent to understand what their legal rights are, but not to assume that they fully understand the law by such self-education, because there are many intricacies of the law that cannot be gained from reading a book or looking at a website.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes, dependent on the circumstances and what documents are to be reviewed.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Yes.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I became a lawyer in order to help other people and because of all the opportunities that the field of law provides.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Throughout my work experience in general, and my legal career in particular, I have always worked closely with people to reach solutions to their problems and assist them in a multitude of capacities.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I like to be able to fight for the rights of individuals during one of the most difficult times of their lives.

What do you like best about your career?

I like the ability to feel like I'm helping others and helping them through their problems so that they can move on with their lives.

Tell us about your law firm:

We strive to offer a personal approach in representing our clients and providing legal services that exceed expectations.

What are your strengths and style?

I treat each client as a person and not a number, and I provide aggressive representation when necessary, while always balancing that with attempts to resolve legal disputes with minimal litigation and legal fees.

I guide my clients through the legal process with the right combination of aggressiveness and professionalism to achieve successful results.

Personal Interests:

My family (I have three little kids), golf, running, and reading.
