Our primary focus is to lend support and be the representative for individuals who have been devastated by personal loss and need strength and understanding during difficult times.
After working for different personal injury firms for the first four years of practice, I started my own firm with the emphasis on personal injury cases.
I worked for small personal injury law firms in which I was called upon to litigate all aspects of personal injury cases, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations early in my career.
I advise people with restricted financial means, giving free counsel to people with legal needs who have limited financial resources.
It's an excellent idea; too often, clients believe that just because they were injured, they're entitled to compensation. It is good for an injured party to understand that they carry a burden of proof, which is to prove that the party who caused their injury is liable and that they need to prove that their injuries were caused by that incident.
I will, for an hourly rate.
Sure.
I had a personal experience in which I felt that if I had been an attorney, or had greater legal knowledge, I would have been better able to protect myself… so I became a lawyer.
I spent several years working in other professions that involved a range of experience from documentary filmmaking to owning a restaurant. It's my belief that because of all that, I got a more down to earth, common sense approach that I like to bring into the litigation experience.
I fell into it. My very first legal job, while I was still in law school, was with a personal injury specialist who taught me a lot. He was a great influence on me.
My favorite thing is helping people.
We tend to take cases that are a little off the beaten path; we're willing to litigate something as hard-fought as it needs to be, and we pride ourselves in being responsive to our clients' needs.
My unique strength is evaluating each case that comes to me.
Firm, professional, but aggressive when necessary.
I love reading, tennis and the water.
