My firm, Turner Green Afrasiabi & Arledge, is a premier litigation boutique with offices in Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada. We handle a wide variety of commercial litigation including contract, employment and intellectual property disputes for publicly traded corporations, small businesses, and high-net-worth individuals.
All of our lawyers have big-firm experience, degrees from top law schools, and experience litigating complex commercial disputes. We are committed to delivering excellent results at cost-effective rates.
Prior to founding Turner Green, I spent approximately eight years at O'Melveny & Myers, a top tier law firm with offices throughout the nation and the world.
In addition to litigating cases, I regularly author articles and speak to organizations on topics related to business litigation.
To effectively litigate a case, an attorney needs to understand his clients' goals and objectives, and the client needs to understand the universe of possible outcomes. I believe that it is very helpful for a client to be educated on the legal issues. An educated client can better understand what results are achievable and can assist counsel in effectively litigating the case.
This is an important part of what is necessary to understand a case. I am always willing to listen to a client and review the documents that the client considers to be important.
This is not a service that I provide.
I like to think creatively, argue persuasively, and compete (and win). Being a lawyer allows me to do some or all of these things on a daily basis. I really can't imagine doing anything else.
My degree in economics from Princeton certainly helps me evaluate the merits of a case from a financial perspective. But what really helps me to be a good lawyer is my years of listening to clients, researching the issues related to their problems, and litigating their claims.
I chose to be a business litigator, because I enjoy the breadth and complexity of the matters involved in this type of litigation.
The thing I like best about my career is helping clients to define and obtain a successful resolution to their disputes.
The attorneys and the support staff at Turner Green are all highly-skilled, well-trained individuals who are thoroughly committed to what we do. Working among such talent is an energizing experience.
I like to think that what sets me apart from most lawyers is my commitment to aiming before firing. I do not treat every case the same, because they are not all the same. Instead, I carefully evaluate a claim and plan a course of action before acting. This saves my clients' money.
I am conscientious and thorough.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children and exercising.
