Commercial real estate salesperson (development properties)

Activities and Awards

I continue to be involved in the development of real property in the Sacramento Region.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Clients are welcomed to educate themselves as to their cases/claims, etc.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

It has been my experience that reviewing litigation documents prepared by clients is not an efficient exercise. However, experienced transactional real property clients can reduce attorney time by preparing the first draft of their contracts.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am not especially excited about the prospect.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I love history, analysis and a good debate.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My participation in development and sales of real property in my prior employment has helped me to be a better lawyer.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

My past and present experience in commercial real property certainly adds to my real property practice.

What do you like best about your career?

The new and different cases.

Tell us about your law firm:

All great people, most of us came from the same big firm in Sacramento.

What are your strengths and style?

I am competitive, dedicated and highly client conscious.

I am aggressive but with costs in mind.

Personal Interests:

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my wife, Tina, and my two kids (Richie and Alexandra). I also enjoy working out and feeding my addiction to golf.
