I have been a sole practitioner in San Luis Obispo since 1990. My firm focuses on assisting individuals and small businesses in my community with their finance, estate planning, and business needs.
I was previously employed at a 25 attorney firm in Ventura County; Cohen, England, Whitfield and Osborn.
I have been representing three local Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustees over the past several years. This gives me a special insight into the workings of the bankruptcy process as well as an outstanding working relationship with each of the Chapter 7 Trustees.
I strongly encourage my clients to educate themselves to the extent possible. I attempt to educate my clients so they are able to make intelligent decisions on their legal matters which many times involve legal issues, financial issues, and practical issues impacting their day to day lives.
I am more than willing to review client prepared documents and provide the client with my feedback.
I have in the past coached clients who have represented themselves.
I chose to pursue a career with intellectual stimulation and the opportunity to assist people through difficult times.
An excellent education from the State University of New York and State University of California, a strong work ethic, and 23 years experience.
