I founded The Corporate Law Group in August 1991. I have practiced for over 20 years, have experience in litigation as well as corporate law, and understand the process and business purpose of litigation.
TCLG is a business law boutique of 3 lawyers that prides itself on excellent service and results work. Services include general corporate law, securities, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, international law, intellectual property licensing and transfer, and related litigation.
TCLG tries to partner with its clients. Our most important goal is our client's growth. If our clients grow, that's great for us too!!
I started this firm 15 years ago. Before that, I worked for Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison.
I am a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Conflicts of Law. I was also a member of the Editorial Board for The Business Law News from 1987-1990.
It's great for clients to educate themselves.

Yes.
I became a lawyer because being a jazz drummer seemed too difficult.
Experience is great, but understanding people and reading broadly help you to be a better lawyer, more than any educational activities. The more experience, the better. I've been practicing for over 20 years.
I really enjoy helping people build businesses that enrich all of our lives and are a value to their customers.
I best like hearing about the innovative things our clients are doing and helping them build great businesses.
I have two excellent junior attorneys who assist me and who are very confident in their assigned tasks conducting research, prepping papers, conducting interviews, and brainstorming case tactics.
My office manager maintains the business and is invaluable to me.
I see the forest and trees (I am able to zero in on problems while also viewing the bigger picture).
Laissez-faire.
Jazz, soccer, and comic books.

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.
Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
