What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I think it's fantastic. It makes for an informed person and a better client to work with.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

No. If I give legal advice and somebody uses it, I can be held liable for their outcome.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I became a lawyer because I was arrested in my younger years which made me realize how easily our rights can be stripped away.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I am in court everyday and everyday I seem to learn something new. My daily experiences for the past twelve years have helped me reach a thorough and complete understanding of the criminal justice system.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I love the challenge that criminal law presents. Criminal defense is not about money, its about liberty.

What do you like best about your career?

I like the daily exercise of the mind, and I love to help people.

Tell us about your law firm:

My business partner and I work directly with our clients. We strive to provide the best legal representation possible by doing two things:

A. To make sure that the client is fully informed so that they make the best possible decision in their case.

B. To make sure that we investigate and find all of the facts, and apply them in the light most favorable to our cilent.

What are your strengths and style?

I am a good communicator, quick thinker, personable, loyal and ethical.

I am easy going but hard when I need to be.

Personal Interests:

I like to spend time with my family and my dog.

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
