Yes. I have also appeared on numerous television and radio shows, seminars, publications and industry presentations. I have had several interviews for various magazines, industry papers and newspapers.
I settled a 19 year dispute with the government of Iran over the collection of unpaid contract money owing a U.S. contractor. My client received full payment and 400% interest. I also resolved a five year tax dispute with Revenue Canada (their version of the IRS). I enlisted the support of the California Congressional Delegation, the United States Embassy in Ottawa, United States Consulate in Calgary and the office of the United States Trade Representative. My client received every tax/duty dollar paid. This case involved engineering, international politics, as well as law.

My practice provides day to day operating legal advice for business financing, government regulation, shareholder and partner rights, mergers, dissolutions, avoiding personal liability, employment law and law of organized labor, mediation and arbitration advocate in business and construction disputes, purchase and sale agreements among corporations and shareholders, and the private placement of stock sales in corporate financing. I also specialize in business organization and growth restructuring. I believe in problem resolution through creative solutions and legal coaching that will help a client solve their own problems whenever possible. I offer negotiation, mediation and arbitration services, and pre-litigation planning and preparation.
I have worn many different hats throughout my career including: Assistant State Attorney General, Chief of Appellate Division, Treasury Agent, Director of Federal Departmental Hearings and Appeals, Federal Executive Officer (twice recipient of Distinguished Service Awards), corporate director, officer and Chief Operating Officer, senior counsel in large case complex federal litigation, labor negotiator, private practice attorney and Superior Court Pro Tem Judge.
Throughout my career, I have been active on non-profit boards of directors, bar association business and alternative dispute resolution organizations and chair of various other community projects.
Splendid. I think it is essential that anyone in business understand what they are doing and why. I do, however, ask that before any action is taken we discuss their research in the broader context of the law.
I am happy to do this so long as there is a clear understanding, as required by bar ethics, as to my responsibility and that of the clients.
I do it everyday. Self help and learning through experience is important to business skill development. As a professional negotiator, I enjoy helping others deal with the day to day issues they face.
I enjoy the intellectual challenge of the law, the practical challenge of dealing in the real world and the interaction with others.
I believe that providing legal services is an important trust. Business today operates in a complex, costly and often confusing environment. My goal is to provide a worthwhile service at a fair price. I am committed to practical, cost effective service, which is individually directed to meet my clients' needs and objectives.
I was raised in a small family business and understand the hard work and demands that small businesses face.
I like working with motivated, business oriented individuals.
I was managing partner of an eight lawyer, thirty-five paralegal civil litigation firm in San Francisco. I elected to work on my own so I could utilize my experience and skill to provide more specialized attention to my clients.
Although I am not sure about "unique," I bring problem solving, negotiation skills, experience and sound business judgment to the table.
I am a listener. You will find me calm, confident, assertive as needed, as well as goal and success oriented.
Family, parents, children, grandchildren, community, self-awareness and health.
