I joined Benjamin Dash and Daniel Baker to form Dash Baker Farrow, LLP in August of 2008. We offer the sophistication of a large firm in the comfort of a small firm setting. Our experienced attorneys represent individuals and businesses in a variety of legal matters including criminal defense, Municipal Court matters, business and corporate law, and real estate.
Before forming the firm, I was a partner with Gold and Farrow, P.C. in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where my practice focused on criminal defense at all levels throughout South Jersey. Prior to that, I was an Assistant Burlington County Prosecutor. I served as a Police Academy instructor on the subject of Search and Seizure Law and was a speaker at various seminars on juvenile law. I started my career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Frank M. Lario, Jr., of the Camden County Superior Court, Criminal Part.
2005 - Criscuolo Award for Young Lawyer in Burlington County
I am happy to have clients educate themselves so that they can understand the process as we proceed.
I would be willing, but in the criminal field, it is quite difficult and disadvantageous for clients to do so.
I am happy to do so for very minor traffic offenses, but I do not recommend self-representation for any other criminal matters.
I wanted to pursue a career where I could deal with people on a personal level and make a real difference in their lives.
I have worked on every side of the criminal justice system. I clerked for a judge, worked as a prosecutor, and as a criminal defense attorney.
I chose criminal law, because the issues clients face are truly life-changing. The seriousness is reflected in the constitutional rights that protect us, and I enjoy the challenge of protecting something of such great value.
I love to stand up in court on a daily basis and fight for my clients' rights.
I deal with all my clients directly, but I also have a wonderful staff of assistants and paralegals who assist in all aspects, especially maintaining the highest level of client communication.
My strength is my ability to both empathize with my client and communicate directly at his or her level, and at the same time raise that level and stand with confidence in court.
Spending time with my family and friends, music, and playing sports such as tennis, basketball, running, and swimming.
