Firm Focus and History

Beason Law Group was established in March 2009. People struggling with debt generally feel like they have no one to talk to. At the Birmingham Law Offices of Beason Law Group, we understand how hard it can be to find someone competent you feel comfortable talking to about your financial concerns. Our Alabama lawyers work hard to provide thorough and confidential counsel to those dealing with insolvency or considering personal or business bankruptcy.

Previous Employment Summary

I was a litigator with the Law Firm of Gladden & Sinor, PC. I own several small businesses and I am a real estate broker. Additionally, I have served in the United States Army as an infantry officer.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Everyone should educate themselves on the law and the internet is a great place to start. Eventually, most clients will get to a point where they really need to take the next step and talk to an attorney to insure they receive their discharge timely and without mistakes.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We generally do not recommend you prepare your own legal documents. If you use our services, we will likely have to redraft them.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We do coach clients on loan modification and dealing with lender issues.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I enjoy helping people solve problems.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

You need an advocate that is familiar with the "real world," not merely the library or a courtroom. Our attorneys have owned and operated multiple small businesses. They have dealt with financial institutions on debts large and small. They have families. They are involved in the community. They understand the real financial challenges you are facing. And, more importantly, they know the solutions and answers that exist. Your business and family need this experience to guide these important decisions.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Our friends in the business and real estate communities approached us for advice on bankruptcy and loan workouts. We eventually became overwhelmed with requests for help and decided to start our own firm dedicated entirely to these problems.

What do you like best about your career?

Meeting new people and finding out about their careers and businesses.

Tell us about your law firm:

We are a law firm dedicated to debt relief. This involves a holistic approach to understanding your situation and recommending creative strategies to address your issues. Early action may help you prevent the bankruptcy process altogether. In the end, you are looking for integrity and results. We are confident we can help you.

What are your strengths and style?

I am efficient and meticulous.

Personal Interests:

History, snow skiing, military, and trying new restaurants with my wife.

Understanding Fees

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
