We are experienced professionals versed in a multiple legal disciplines, who are dedicated to bringing our clients the level of expertise, consistent reliability and the accessibility demanded to support their complex needs. Through our standards of excellence, entrepreneurial spirit and firm commitment to client service, we provide innovative solutions to a wide spectrum of clients that count on our skills and professionalism.
I founded The Corvisiero Law Practice, P.C. in 2005, and have recently become actively involved with the firm's growth and marketing, adopting the newly authorized name, Corvisiero Law, and expanding the practice areas to encompass a comprehensive package of services for existing and new clients.
I have held positions in several law firms and companies since 1995 in different capacities. In such positions, I have attained the knowledge and experience necessary to properly and dynamically represent my clients. These stellar firms and companies include Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP, a top 15 global law firm; Windels, Marx, Lane & Mittendorf, LLP, a white shoe boutique; and Avaya, Inc., a fortune 500 telecommunications company among several distinguished others.
An educated client enables better interactions, saves money, and always makes better decisions. I believe that knowledge and information are power.
I'm always willing to review and comment on client's documents, but I have certain rules about ignored advice and limitations on liability.
I am willing to coach a client in self-representation as long as I have confidence in their ability to do so in specific situations, and they are willing to follow my advice.
I always had a knack for problem solving and helping people. I like the law and believe in the system.
I have been fortunate enough to find brilliant mentors who not only knew the ins and outs of the law, but were also good teachers and humanitarians. I have vast experience from a top global to small firms, and I value them all equally. I believe that knowledge and apathy work hand in hand. Book smarts and common sense alone don't make one a good lawyer, it's the attorney understanding and caring for the client's needs that complete the package.
I chose my current areas of practice based on my experience and enjoyment of the subject matter.
I have followed an unconventional path in my career. What I like most about what I have done and what I'm doing is that I do things my way, in a creative and ethical manner and with as much gusto as needed to properly represent those clients that I choose to represent.
Personal and attentive service is a major priority and that I deal directly with all my clients.
My strengths are in my knowledge, charisma and flexibility. I am a good listener and a great problem solver. Those who follow my advice, seldom regret doing so.
