DONNELLY LLC is a law firm dedicated to providing legal representation to medium and small businesses, non-profit groups, professional associations and individuals throughout New Jersey in complex and routine corporate and business planning, estate planning, and other commercial transactions and in litigation and arbitration involving business matters, debt collection and estate disputes.
Established in 2007, the firm's practice was founded on the belief that a specialized small firm can offer higher quality and more cost-efficient legal services within its specialty areas than larger general practice firms.
Former General Equity and Probate Law Clerk for Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem counties, New Jersey. Worked for three years as a Litigation Associate for a firm in Moorestown, New Jersey, specializing in representing banks and major lending institutions in federal bankruptcy and creditor's rights before working for a boutique firm in Princeton, New Jersey focused on counseling investment firms and hedge funds.
SuperLawyers Rising Star 2009, 2010.
The firm welcomes an informed client who knows what they want. There is a fine line however, between self-education and self-representation. Some of the worst cases the firm has handled have come from clients who failed to have an attorney represent them in the beginning of a legal matter and as a result have to pay two or three times the amount they would have initially paid to extricate them from the situation they find themselves in. As Abraham Lincoln once said, "A man who represents himself has a fool for a client."
The firm will review documents to get a feel for what the client is trying to do. After the firm is retained, it will draft the documents to get the client where they need to be.
See answer first question. The firm neither suggests clients do this, nor does it engage in this.
I enjoy continually challenging my mind while at the same time counseling clients through their problems.
Broad range of advocacy experience spanning both litigation and complex corporate transactions. With its focused practice and emphasis on client needs, the firm works hard to keep client costs low and maintains a personal perspective that has resulted in a large number of client referrals and returned clients.
The firm's practice was founded on the belief that a specialized small firm can offer higher quality and more cost-efficient legal services within its specialty areas than larger general practice firms. The nature of the firm's practice enables it to help individuals and businesses which contribute to the flow of the economy, create jobs and preserve wealth, all of which are very fulfilling.
Meeting people and helping them through their problems.
As a solo practitioner, the client will always be dealing with me, not an associate. This holds true from the firm's largest corporate client to its individual client. When dealing with clients, the goal of DONNELLY LLC is always the same: committed, steadfast service coupled with an understanding of the costs -- both personal and financial -- associated with legal representation.
The firm always approaches legal issues with an understanding of the costs -- both personal and financial -- associated with legal representation. It works aggressively to keep costs low while at the same time zealously representing its client base. This is based on the firm's belief that building and sustaining relationships is the key to client success.
