The firm represents employees and employers in discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and unpaid wage litigation.
The firm was established in 1994 and has represented hundreds of clients in all manner of employment disputes. We have been featured on CNN for our class action work in the wage and hour field. We successfully recovered millions of dollars for underpaid employees and employees who have suffered discrimination and harassment.
The firm was called Kesten, Colton and Brandt. We received national recognition for our work on behalf of employees who were not paid the wages they worked for and deserved.
I have served as a judge pro tem with the Marin County Superior Court, am a lead arbitrator with the San Francisco Attorney Client fee dispute program. I have been recognized by the YWCA, Marin County Legal Aid and the San Francisco Bar Association for his Pro Bono work. Steve's articles in the area of employment have been published in a variety of legal publications.
I enjoy working with clients that are familiar with the law and regularly represent lawyers and law firms concerning their employment issues. I also enjoy helping clients learn about the law and I am frequently asked to consult on cases by other lawyers.
I am always open to speaking with new clients and reviewing their documents and materials.
I am always willing to help in any way I can.
I enjoy helping people. A single lawyer with good intentions and a strong work ethic can change the world.
Helping others and being a husband and parent have taught me compassion for the difficulties others face.
Work is a large part of everyone's life. Everyone deserves to work in an environment that is safe and free of discrimination and harassment. Lawyers help even the playing field between the haves and have nots, the powerful and the weak.
Helping others achieve their dreams or escape their nightmares.
My team of assistants and I deal directly with all clients. We are available after hours to answer questions and calm the concerns our clients might have concerning their claims.
I am easygoing but can be aggressive when the need arises.
