Our focus is to assist clients in saving their hard-earned assets for their end-of-life needs through structuring financial and estate planning documents. We assist clients in applying for medical benefits and we assist families with the probate process of a deceased family member's assets.
The Law Offices of Patricia Bloom-McDonald was established in 2003.
I’ve been in the legal field since 1990, focusing on helping clients with estate planning, real estate, and probate matters.

It is important for clients to be savvy because there are many unscrupulous people who give false information. Always checking with a lawyer is also important to make sure state laws are complied with properly to achieve the proper ultimate goal.
I encourage people to seek my review of documents to make sure they understand what they are signing and achieving their proper outcome.
I give advice to clients on a regular basis, but encourage them to also retain a lawyer as a backup.
I love going to work every day to help people achieve all that the community has to offer in order for them to enjoy their retirement years as comfortably as possible.
I am a late in life attorney, raised two beautiful, successful daughters, married 38 years to the same man, have living parents in their 80s and 90s, and understand the difficulty of growing old and the challenges the laws present to the elderly. I am a baby boomer, myself!
I love working with the elderly and I have a lot of patience and understanding.
Meeting new people, listening to their stories, and seeing their faces full of relief when they know I can help them.
I am a solo practitioner, so all my clients deal directly with me. I have a wonderful paralegal who is attentive to all my clients’ immediate needs.
My strengths are my patience, my ability to empathize with my clients, and my ability to put them at ease because I am one of them.

I offer 10% discount on fees if new clients mention Nolo.
Each one of my client matters are tailored to the individual needs of the client, therefore my legal fees are customized to not only the budget of my clients but also to the complexity of the legal matter. In order to avoid any perceived violation of the U.S. Anti-Trust laws, I do not post my fees.
The first 30 minutes are always free.
I do require retainers; however, this is customized to the capabilities of the client and complexity of the case involved.
Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.
Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
