Gibson Lowry Burris is one of the most experienced groups of attorneys in Nevada focused on intellectual property, routinely handling intellectual property-based transactions such as licensing agreements, development agreements, and strategic alliance agreements as well as intellectual property litigation.

Although Gibson Lowry Burris focuses on intellectual property issues, the Firm has a deep core of experience as well in corporate, tax, and commercial issues, involving both transactions and litigation. Formation of a variety of business entities and drafting of relevant agreements for such entities is a critical part of the Firm's regular service. Drafting a wide range of agreements for existing companies is also an important part of the Firm's activities. In addition, the Firm represents a broad array of companies and individuals in courts and arbitration proceedings with respect to commercial disputes.

Our service mark, "JURIS OPTIMUS," is Latin for "legal excellence." It is a term the Romans would have used to describe Mr. Gibson's core value. The Roman legal system, one of history's most important, exemplifies the far-reaching effects of legal excellence. Roman law still influences nearly every practice area of the modern lawyer. Mr. Gibson aims to provide each client with the highest level of Juris Optimus based on that client's practical needs.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My experience on national and international levels has given me the ability to bring my clients vast amounts of knowledge and expertise which sets me aside from many lawyers.
