Firm Focus and History

We handle all types of employment discrimination and harassment. We handled a large whistle blower case against Alaska Airlines regarding the crash of flight 261. We have many large settlements and judgments. We represent employees and small business employers. We have defended sexual harassment claims against dentists and medical practitioners. We have never lost a case we defended in the harassment area.

Previous Employment Summary

I started with the law firm of Huffaker, Huffaker and Stephens. I handled all criminal, civil and business litigation. I specialized, eventually, in employment and insurance litigation on the civil side and continue to handle about 2 or 3 serious felony cases at a time. I now only do employment law as civil litigation. Most cases are sexual harassment / discrimination, or discrimination based on age, race or disability.

Activities and Awards

I currently teach Discrimination in Employment as an adjunct professor at San Francisco Law School and Business Law at Diablo Valley College, in addition to my trial practice. I am a certified mediator and I am on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel for both Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
