Partition Suit: Former girlfriend obtained a default judgment against client and obtained a judicial deed erasing client's interest in property. Successfully vacated the default judgment and filed a counterclaim for partition of property. Tried matter and secured client's one half interest in property.
Specific Performance: Client signed a real estate contract with a realtor under duress. Terms were unfavorable. Realtor files complaint for specific performance. I defended client and judge denied specific performance and allowed client to remain in her home.
