Zingarelli Law Office was established in July, 2008 by attorney Nick Zingarelli after working many years in the bankruptcy and creditor's rights fields. Zingarelli Law Office provides affordable legal services tailored to each individual's needs and circumstances.
Previous Employment Summary
I was formerly employed at Dearfield, Kruer, and Co. from 2004 through 2008, where I focused solely on consumer bankruptcy. Before that, I was employed at Coley & Associates from 2003 to 2004, where I focused primarily on creditor's rights.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?
I believe that education is always valuable. However, an education is only as valuable as the information one absorbs. As a result, I would caution anyone on educating themselves on legal issues without being sure that the source of information they are using is reputable. It is usually advisable to meet with an attorney that has experience in the area that the person is seeking information and allow that attorney to assist them.
Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?
I am willing to review documents prepared by clients, provided that my clients are open to having those documents revised and, in many cases, completely changed by me.
Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?
I will not coach anyone to be their own attorney. He who represents himself has a fool for a client.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer?
I decided to become a lawyer because I wanted to help people.
What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?
The work experience that I have has taught me that each case is different and requires a personal level of attention. I never stop learning from the seminars I attend, and from each client that I serve.
Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?
The field of law that I practice has allowed me to help hundreds of people with their financial challenges at a relatively affordable cost to them.
What do you like best about your career?
I enjoy providing people with the fresh start and the financial relief that bankruptcy gives them.
Tell us about your law firm:
I am a solo practitioner, so all clients will work with me. I also have an outstanding paralegal that assists me with the day-to-day tasks of running my practice and also works with our clients on the more administrative tasks associated with preparing a bankruptcy case.
What are your strengths and style?
My strengths are my listening skills, my attention to detail, my work ethic and my commitment to the needs of each and every one of my clients. I feel that I am very approachable to my clients and am able to easily work with both legal friends and adversaries.
Personal Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my family, playing poker, running, reading, going to concerts, and going to Reds, Bengals, and Bearcats games.

My hourly rate is $250. My paralegal's hourly rate is $95.

The amount of the retainer varies based upon the complexity of the case.
