What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

A little knowledge is dangerous - which makes it essential that you work with qualified and personable professionals that you feel will take care of your family when it is necessary.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am willing to do so on an hourly basis, but it is often more efficient and cost-effective to work with an attorney throughout the entire process.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

It depends on the client's situation.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

To help clients resolve problems and protect their family's legacies. I was very influenced by my ancestors who were pioneers in the legal and financial fields.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Being involved in Charitable Boards and Community Activities provides me with experience, perspective, and gratification.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I like assisting individuals as opposed to corporations; it is personally rewarding.

What do you like best about your career?

Seeing plans come to fruition and resolving emergent problems, especially in transitional times.

Tell us about your law firm:

We have the quality of a large firm with the warmth and personal touch of a small boutique firm. We have wonderful staff and little turnover. Our average employee has at least over 7 years experience with our firm alone.

What are your strengths and style?

Quality, empathy and commitment.

Personal Interests:

Family, golf, karate, and good food and wine.

Understanding Fees

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
