What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I think there is a lot of information available via the internet. However, the legal arena can be a bit challenging to understand, which is why I believe the assistance of an attorney should always be explored.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am always willing to review client's paperwork and documents.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I don't recommend clients representing themselves in a court of law.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I have always been interested in the law, specifically the Constitution of the United States.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

My prior work experience as a prosecutor makes me a better defense attorney.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I love criminal law and family law and also like to help people.

What do you like best about your career?

I love knowing what the rules of law and rules of evidence require, and making sure all players are upholding their roles.

Tell us about your law firm:

I have wonderful staff who initially speak with clients, but I then handle the client throughout the entire process.

What are your strengths and style?

My strengths are that I am a fighter. I am aggressive, knowledgeable, and a team player.

Understanding Fees

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
