What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

The more the client knows about the law, the better he will be able to carry out the duties he is assigned by the attorney and the more he will appreciate the bankruptcy and social security process.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

We will only prepare our own documents for clients who hire our firm.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I do not coach clients unless I represent them.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I wanted a career where I could really make a difference in people's lives.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I have sold office supplies as an outside sales person. I was a real estate salesman and broker for eight years. I did real estate searches and closings for a title company, which I owned. I have taught business courses for many different colleges.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I wanted to help people gain control of their financial lives.

What do you like best about your career?

I can help people in need and be a positive influence on their lives. People come to me with their financial problems, and I am able to make the law work for them.

Tell us about your law firm:

I have been in partnership with Andrew L. Clark since 1989. He is an exceptional attorney who specializes in family law, criminal defense, Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases, personal injury and small business issues.

What are your strengths and style?
