Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I decided to become a lawyer because I wanted to understand how the law worked and apply that knowledge to help people and win cases.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I am extremely client oriented. I am focused on the particular needs of a client. I have 28 years of varied experience in all areas of law so that I can see issues involved in a client's need that is sometimes beyond the initially apparent impressions or needs.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I am a courtroom attorney because triers of fact usually like my presentation. I feel comfortable in courtrooms and in front of judges and people.

What do you like best about your career?

It is rewarding when I am able to accomplish a client's needs and allay their fears.

Tell us about your law firm:

I am a solo practitioner with outside associates, but all clients deal directly with me. My associates and office staff are selected primarily because of their efficiency, courtesy and attention to detail.

What are your strengths and style?

My strength is my ability to relate to people in any situation and gain their confidence and trust. People say that I am likable and help put people at ease.
