Our firm is dedicated to providing quality legal services to individuals and small businesses at reasonable fees.
Our firm was established in 1982. I was an assistant prosecuting attorney and Mr. Zeid was a public defender. We both have broad trial experience and share a strong work ethic. Some members of our staff have been with us since the beginning of the firm.
I started as an attorney in the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's litigation section. Due to a family member's illness, I moved back to northeastern Ohio where I served as a Lake County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, initially handling criminal cases and later being the chief civil litigator. I later was a trial attorney for the National Labor Relations Board and then went into private practice. My prior experience has given me insight into representing individuals and small businesses faced with different legal problems.
I currently serve as a delegate for District 18 to the Ohio State Bar Association's Council of Delegates, and have served as President of the Lake County Bar Association. I have done Pro Bono work for religious and nonprofit public service groups.
I respect clients who have taken the time to gain an understanding of the issues they may be facing. Clients are an active participant in the legal process. However, a client needs to understand that each case is different.
I am willing to review documents prepared by clients. My past experience has been that individuals, who prepare their own documents, even when reviewed by counsel, would be better served if they obtained an attorney to represent them.
I am willing to coach clients who wish to represent themselves. This is done at my normal hourly rate and usually is only beneficial in relatively simple legal matters.
I was encouraged to be a lawyer by my grandfather. Initially, I was more interested in the political aspect of the law but as I studied, I wanted to be in a profession that solved problems and helped people.
I have loaded trucks, washed dishes, been a waiter, accountant and attorney in both public and private sectors. Besides a strong legal experience, I bring a wealth of life experiences to help solve my clients' problems.
I enjoy helping an individual secure their life.
The satisfaction of helping a person achieve their goals, and the fact that each day is different.
We share the purpose of being here to help. Whether a client is dealing with me or my partner, or one of our staff members, they will encounter the same attitude that we want to help.
Knowledge, experience, and dedication to my clients.
Family, playing racquet ball, reading, back gammon, watching soccer, and football.

There are a number of services where I do charge a flat rate. An example would be a simple individual Chapter 7, which is at a $1,000 flat rate. Fixed rate is never quoted until after the initial consultation.
$250.
Yes, usually for an hour. However, it is still free if an individual needs more time because of issues or the facts of their case.
Yes. It depends on the case and the amount of time I think will be involved.
Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.
Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
