Firm Focus and History

I represent individuals and have a reputation, I have been told, for compassionate understanding and good communication skills. Clients have told me that I help put them at ease during crises in their life and that their needs have been met in and out of court hearings.

I started my office in 1965 and have been in practice continually since then.

Previous Employment Summary

I spent two years working for a general practitioner who taught me that you practice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, squeezing in lunch or dinner.

Activities and Awards

I do pro bono work for many groups, such as abused woman and returning veterans.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

The more the client knows, the better the client and I can work together.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am quite willing to review documents prepared by clients.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am willing to coach clients.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I wanted to keep learning and to be in a "helping" profession.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

Forty-five years of serving clients in need with an empathetic ear. Bankruptcy entered many areas of my practice, including social security disability, criminal, divorce and family matters, and was the "elephant in the room". The outcomes have resulted in longstanding, satisfied clients and many referrals.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

My practice responds to my client's needs. The economy helped make my phone ring off the hook with requests from my clients for help with foreclosures and credit card abuses.

What do you like best about your career?

When clients thank me for helping them.

Tell us about your law firm:

All my clients deal directly with me.

What are your strengths and style?

I am a "people person".

Personal Interests:

Reading, and spending time with my family.
