Morgan Law, P.A. has always focused on meeting with people personally, attending our own court dates and avoiding use of coverage attorneys. We communicate with clients in a language they can understand, tell them what to expect, and lead them through the judicial process. Fees are negotiable and we provide excellent service at a reasonable cost.
The firm was established in 2007 after Attorney Eric A. Morgan resigned his partnership position at a major bankruptcy firm located in Orlando, FL and set out to create a smaller firm. The goal was to create a firm in which each client received individualized attention from the attorney. By handling each case personally, clients receive better, more efficient results, and understand what is happening with their case. Attorney Carl Morgan joined the firm in 2009, bringing extensive experience in criminal defense, bankruptcy, and other legal areas.
Attorney Carl A. Morgan has served as a trial attorney at a criminal defense firm, where he handled numerous jury and non-jury trials, including many appeals. Mr. Morgan also operated a small practice of his own in Ohio. At Morgan Law, P.A., Mr. Morgan has handled numerous traffic and criminal defense matters, bankruptcy, and business litigation. During law school, Mr. Morgan participated on the trial team and worked as an intern on a criminal defense firm.

At Morgan Law, P.A., we seek clients who are curious about their cases and the issues involved. To that end, we have highly developed websites that address many of the issues and questions in which clients are interested.
We will review documents prepared by clients as necessary depending on the type of case and per our attorney-client services agreement.
Morgan Law, P.A. does not coach pro se clients. There is simply too much room for misunderstanding. We recognize and respect the right of people to represent themselves. However, we are prepared to enter into limited representation where our role is clearly defined.
Attorney Carl A. Morgan decided to become an attorney after realizing that he loved advocating, defending, and helping people. He was a police officer in England and regularly came across attorneys visiting their clients after he had arrested them. He developed a respect for the work they did and the passion they had for their clients. It became his goal to be able to provide that kind of service.
Attorney Carl A. Morgan grew up in England, and spent five years as a police officer in Bristol, England. He came to the United States and worked in the construction industry, the insurance industry and a variety of other positions as he put himself through the seven years of school required to be a licensed attorney. His life experiences have helped him to understand the trials and tribulations of his clients.
Attorney Carl A. Morgan is primarily focused on criminal defense law. Criminal defense law affords Mr. Morgan the opportunity to take cases to trial, forcing the prosecutor to prove the allegations against a defendant. Sometimes, there is not much evidence behind the allegations being made. Sometimes, the police or witnesses have not been completely honest or exaggerated what really happened. In cases where a defendant does not want to go to trial, Mr. Morgan negotiates on behalf of a client to seek the best possible resolution to their case.
The practice of law has allowed Attorney Carl A. Morgan to help many people in a variety of areas of life. Sometimes this help has been as simple as helping a young man regain his driving license so that he can begin to work and support his family, after losing the license at a younger, more immature stage of life. Mr. Morgan takes cases to trial and tests the prosecutor's case in front of a jury.
Morgan Law, P.A. is a small firm with a staff of three at the time of this writing. The two attorneys are caring individuals that help clients take sensible steps to fix problems in their lives. Our paralegal, Jackie Quinones, loves helping people and is a certified translator in Spanish and English.
Attorney Carl A. Morgan is dedicated to giving each case his personal time and attention. He does not shy away from litigating issues when necessary, but also works hard to negotiate a sensible resolution when possible, if this is the best way of serving the interests of his client.
Attorney Carl A. Morgan spends most of his personal time at home with his family. He also enjoys public speaking, reading, and traveling.
