What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is a double edged sword. I prefer talking to clients who have an understanding of what I am advising, but at the same time, some clients think they can do it themselves, in spite of advice to the contrary. I have never seen a do it yourselfer in legal matters achieve the optimal result.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Yes.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I enjoy being an advisor to people to help them through their problems.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

I was out in the real world for several years prior to going to law school and as such, my experiences give me the ability to see things and analyze problems from multiple perspectives.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

Life, death and taxes are particularly difficult areas of life. I find that my personality soothes clients who are faced with tough decisions in these areas.

What do you like best about your career?

I like saving client's money.

Tell us about your law firm:

I am a solo practitioner, so all of my clients deal directly with me.

What are your strengths and style?

I am fun loving and easy going, but very tenacious.

Personal Interests:

I like scuba diving, underwater photography, gourmet cooking, and music.

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
