Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

I started out my first career in real estate and have always been interested in the law. The practice of law is a dynamic and consistently changing field. It is exciting, allows me the ability to be creative and offers the possibility of innovation.

I put myself through law school selling residential and commercial real estate. I have a "hands on" education in transactional real estate. I continually network with colleagues and professional organizations staying current and involved in the industry.

I have a strong, well developed background in real estate law. My father owned his own company and was a real estate broker and investor. Tell us about your law firm:

I am a solo practitioner. My secretary/assistant Gaye Lingley and I will be celebrating her 30th year with the firm in August 2009. Our office is focused on strong customer service skills and providing immediate attention to all our clients. We work with a variety of clientele including individuals, families, professionals, various types of businesses and corporations.

What are your strengths and style?

I am organized and efficient in my business planning. I pride myself in bringing matters to resolution as quickly and inexpensively as possible. Effective case management and strong communication are key factors in working through any type of obstacle. Due to my continued education, experience, and industry involvement, I am confident in my ability to provide my clients with expert advice. My business focus is to provide excellent service, professional counsel and the absolute finest representation for my clients.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy most sporting events and I am an avid golfer. I appreciate well written novels and cherish spending time with my family.
