DeBruyckere Roth & Associates, PLLC provides legal services to clients who conduct business in a variety of areas such as the medical, high tech, service industries, real estate development, fitness services, retail, and manufacturing fields.

DeBruyckere Roth & Associates, PLLC was founded in 2007 by Daniel DeBruyckere and Elizabeth Roth in Salem, New Hampshire. Since that time, we have established offices in Dracut and North Andover, Massachusetts. Our attorneys have more than 30 years combined experience.

Previous Employment Summary

Early in my career, I was an associate at a medical malpractice firm. I was later in-house corporate counsel and chief compliance officer for a public corporation that owned and operated psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics throughout the country. I was a solo practitioner before founding DeBruyckere Roth & Associates, PLLC.

What is your opinion regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

Many of my clients are knowledgeable consumers of legal services. I work with their basic understanding of corporate law to develop the best business plans to meet their needs and objectives.

Are you willing to review documents prepared by clients?

My clients often bring me documents to review. However, my review is not a rubber stamp as I will carefully analyze the document and make changes as necessary to meet its legal compliance protections as intended.

Are you willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I have assisted clients who want to represent themselves at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Why did you decide to be a lawyer?

After successful careers as a nurse and psychotherapist, I found the practice of law to be both professionally stimulating and a venue to use my well-defined and established counseling skills.

What work experience and education helps you be a better lawyer?

As a trained psychotherapist and business entrepreneur, I understand the challenges faced by business owners and can listen and communicate effectively to meet their legal needs. My experience as an in-house corporate attorney brings large business legal experience to the small business owner.

Why did you decide on your primary area of practice?

I was a business owner before becoming an attorney. It is a natural progression of my own career development.

What do you like best about your career?

Every day presents unanticipated challenges.

Tell us about your law firm:

Everyone at DeBruyckere Roth & Associates is committed to serving the needs of our clients and is personally responsive to each client as they contact us for legal services.

What are your strengths and style?

Clients appreciate my ability to listen to their needs and instinctively provide the best legal resolutions to meet their business objectives and goals.

Personal Interests:

I am active in Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Salem Rotary Club. I am also serving as Selectman in Salem, New Hampshire.

Nolo's Licensing Check

Attorneys have passed a licensing check. Nolo has confirmed that every member attorney has a valid license and is in good standing with the applicable bar associations upon joining the directory.

Directory lawyers are required to notify Nolo immediately if they become the subject of any disciplinary action by any bar association.
