Florida ethics governing advertising generally prohibit us from disclosing actual results of our cases. We typically handle divorce cases where the parties have minor children, a home, some retirement benefits and/or pensions. We also negotiate and draft prenuptial/antenuptial agreements, and litigate over them, as well. In addition, we handle child custody, child support and relocation cases, as well as alimony enforcement and modification.

My firm focuses exclusively on divorce and family law matters.
My firm was established in 2008. I was previously associated with Robert L. Appleget of Robert L. Appleget, Jr., PA. I was with Bob for the last five years.

Education and knowledge is power! My goal is to educate my clients so they can work along side me on their case.
Very willing. It's a lucky lawyer who has client that is willing to put much time and effort into his or her case!
I am willing to coach clients, as long as they understand the risks involved with representing themselves.
I wanted to make a real difference in families and what they go through during the divorce process.
I was divorced with three young children and went back to school after being a stay-at-home mother. I understand how "life changing" divorce can be. I think that attitude has a lot to do with outcome.
I have always been very interested in the dynamics of families. I also believe that families come in all shapes and sizes. There is no longer one "type" of family. My goal in choosing family law was to make a positive difference in the family with whom I'm working.
Seeing families three or four years later and how wonderfully they are doing.
I'm a solo practitioner with two wonderful paralegals: Julia and Donna. Both have great virtues, and together, we make a complete firm.
Compassion, understanding, good-listening skills, a solid work ethic, and integrity are what define me. While my clients know that I am busy, I will never let my clients feel that they are forgotten. I will always try to return phone calls within 48 hours and my clients can contact me via email for a faster response. One of the things that I saw most frustrating to clients is not being able to reach their attorney when they need them. I try very hard to stay in touch with my clients.
I love reading. I love to write (usually non-fiction). My true passions are dog rescue and spending time with my family.
